So, this morning, the California Supreme Court decided that dear Gavin had overstepped his authority and nullified the 3000+ gay marriages that took place. If marriage is really & truly based on love…who’s to say that two people who are deeply in love and committed to each other cannot be recognized as “married”?

I was hoping that the dictionary was going to support me on this, but it’s a toss up…

In other…strangely related…news, the governor of New Jersey stepped down today, amidst corruption allegations and admitted to having an affair with another man. I thought of the Julianne Moore movie, Far From Heaven – which I have yet to see in it’s entirety. But I give props to McGreevy for having the courage to come forward and tell the truth…but I don’t think that he should have left office.
