Or as I like to call it \u2013 watching the MTV VMA show. (This makes up for the hours I listen to the classical station or NPR in the car.)<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get it over \u2013 poor, poor Britney. Poor Britney. Under so much pressure to deliver and she doesn\u2019t. It was painful to watch. Time for her to \u201cretire\u201d. But don\u2019t rip on the paunch \u2013 she\u2019s had two kids and looks better than me after having one.\u00a0 <\/font><\/span>So yes, there were folks that I hadn\u2019t heard of\u2026some that I\u2019m tired of hearing of (Hey There Delilah\u2026anyone?)\u2026and that John Norris \u2013 he obvs didn\u2019t check a mirror before he went on-air. His stylist needs to go. Thought Justin Timberlake\u2019s stab at reality shows on MTV in front of LC, Audrina & Whitney was pretty funny, am looking forward to watching last night\u2019s ep.<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span>Birthday Bonanza<\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span> <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span>The past weekend we went to three, yes three!, birthday parties!<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span> <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span>Friday was a surprise party for my mom at the ever-so-fun Tonga Room at the Fairmont \u2013 and boy was she surprised! We celebrated with friends & family. My uncle even tried to get a former flame to attend \u2013 his agent said he\u2019d go for $5k!<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span> <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span>Saturday, was a surprise party for my uncle \u2013 a lovely group dinner at Greens. Greens is probably SF\u2019s oldest vegetarian resto with a fabulous location \u2013 Fort Mason \u2013 and spectacular views! (This, surprisingly, was my first time there!) Mads was \u201cwell-behaved\u201d, enjoying her vegetarian eats (corn empanadas) and especially enjoying the chocolate birthday cake.<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span> <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span>Sunday, we headed down to the children\u2019s playground at Yerba Buena Gardens at Moscone Center for a birthday celebration for a \u201cfriend\u201d of Mads\u2019 (read: a fellow day care attendee). This was the first time at this particular park for us and Mads LOVED it! The slides here are higher and faster and telling by the look on her face, this peanut is a thrill seeker! We\u2019ll be back here for sure.<\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span> <\/font><\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
