It’s a holiday Monday and I am up before 8am. Ugh.<\/p>\n
So, Sylvain and I are preparing for Benedicte, Eric, Leo & Leeloo’s arrival Wednesday night. It’ll be fun and interesting for 2 1\/2 weeks. At least a few of those days include a trip to Vegas. (Wahoo!)<\/p>\n
Saturday, we were invited to a BBQ at Deborah & Joseph’s new (rented) pad in Palo Alto. It’s a great house with an enorme yard. Lucie had a blast running around all day – she didn’t have time to nap. She slept all night (and most of Sunday too!) Oh, at the BBQ, we met the craziest woman – just watch out for her series, “The Abby Show”. She tells it like it is and has a sense of humor about it. Also, a belated felicitations to Barbara & David on their recent nuptials! <\/p>\n
Sunday we met one of our friends from France, Kequang, for a quickie brunch at Q before he flew back home to Paris. Spent most of the day napping or cooking or slipping on the wet floor and falling (Lucie’s drippings her from water bowl!). <\/p>\n
Today, Memorial Day, we are venturing down to Sarah’s house for a pool party. Lucie will be tired tonight, once again. Just trying to take it easy before the family arrives. I cannot imagine how crazy it will be with two kids (3 going on 4, and a 7 month old) running around.
