…and y’all know what that means. I’d better get my butt moving and get this nursery put together. Yup, peanut has yet to make his\/her debut.<\/p>\n

I’m starting week #2 of M-leave and so far I haven’t been too bored. \ud83d\ude09 I’ve already made a couple of trips to The Container Store (I just can’t leave that place without a shopping bag!), made a bunch of sweets for the home (another plum tart, nutella gelato and meringue cookies with chocolate chips and walnuts), and am slowly getting peanut’s room ready. Lesson learned – don’t wash bumpers or bassinet skirts, even washing & drying them in the delicate cycle, they’ll shrink anyways. Grrr…<\/p>\n

There was another baby shower this past weekend with friends and family and peanut’s received even more loot. It was another lovely tea in Menlo Park. Though it was nice, I think I prefer the ambiance at Lovejoy’s better.<\/p>\n

Phase 2 is coming along quite nicely…and quickly, I might add. Fences are up (doors & gates, not yet), pipes for irrigation and electricity have been laid and maybe, just maybe we’ll have a functional yard in a couple weeks, maybe even before peanut’s here.
