I\u2019ve been both so anxious and excited lately these remaining 19 (23) weeks can\u2019t go by fast enough! (Famous last words, eh?) Today was my third pre-natal visit\u2026got the good news that my AFP test came back \u201cnormal\u201d and got to listen to the baby\u2019s heartbeat again. A quickie visit today. S had asked Dr. F where he could get one of those portable Doppler devices so that he could listen to the heartbeat \u2013 surprisingly\/jokingly Dr. F replied, \u201coh, these, you can rent them from some place on the internet.\u201d Then she added the disclaimer that the ultrasounds shouldn\u2019t be done too often. I\u2019m slowly gaining more weight \u2013 well, of course I am! They keep weighing me with my shoes ON! I just can\u2019t take them off fast enough. It\u2019s flip-flops from now on!…well, weather permitting, of course.<\/p>\n
S seems to have come down with sympathy symptoms lately \u2013 aside from the sympathy weight, we think that he\u2019s to starting to develop \u201cpregnancy brain\u201d. He couldn\u2019t remember, for the life of him, that his mom had told him that they had received our belated holiday gifts…a while ago.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve been home the past couple with a cold (blame the weather coming down from Canada & Alaska) \u2013 figuring that I should really be taking it easy and not make that huge effort to get my butt to work.<\/p>\n
There are no plans for celebrating St. Patty\u2019s day, nor any plans to eat corned beef and cabbage and potatoes \u2013 though it does sound quite tasty right now. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
