{"id":223,"date":"2005-08-22T19:33:03","date_gmt":"2005-08-23T03:33:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kellybeanz.com\/?p=223"},"modified":"2006-02-10T16:53:34","modified_gmt":"2006-02-11T00:53:34","slug":"more-crappy-concert-pix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kellybeanz.com\/?p=223","title":{"rendered":"more crappy concert pix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>at this rate, i could start a separate blog for crappy concert pix since my mophone is SO good at it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"coldplay1.jpg\" src=\"\/wp-content\/coldplay1.jpg\" width=\"160\" height=\"120\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"coldplay2.jpg\" src=\"\/wp-content\/coldplay2.jpg\" width=\"160\" height=\"120\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>these were taken at the shoreline amphitheatre in mountain view this past friday. &#8217;twas a fantastic evening with will, jon, chris and guy (also known collectively as Coldplay). it was a such a great show i&#8217;d honestly pay to see them perform live again! (we could&#8217;ve done without the opening act however.) S was pretty impressed with the guitarist&#8217;s ability and how the drummer was just banging the crap out of the drum set &#8211; a good banging, that is. they performed little from their <a title=\"X&#038;Y\" href=\"http:\/\/rhaplinks.listen.com\/rhaplink?cobrand=1&#038;playlist=&#038;tracks=8677243,8677244,8677245,8677246\">new album<\/a>, a lot from their <a title=\"Parachutes\" href=\"http:\/\/rhaplinks.listen.com\/rhaplink?cobrand=1&#038;playlist=&#038;tracks=5893520,5893521,5893523,5893527,5893528,5893529\">previous<\/a> <a title=\"a rush of blood to the head\" href=\"http:\/\/rhaplinks.listen.com\/rhaplink?cobrand=1&#038;playlist=&#038;tracks=6904994,6904996,6904999,6905000,6905002,6905003,6905004\">albums<\/a>, and paid a tribute to Johnny Cash both by performing a song intended to be recorded with him and their rendition of <a title=\"the man in black\" href=\"http:\/\/rhaplinks.listen.com\/rhaplink?cobrand=1&#038;track=5992092\">Ring of Fire<\/a>, which, bless their english hearts, wasn&#8217;t quite the same as the original.<\/p>\n<p>walking through the parking lot, it was evident that coldplay has reached mainstream &#8211; SUVs, BMWs and the occasional Porsche were abound.
