S + I made a trip out to NYC for a long weekend. S was there for business Thursday and Friday; I was there for the shopping. (Isn\u2019t that always the case?)<\/p>\n
It was Sylvain\u2019s first time to NYC, my third. (We didn\u2019t catch any shows, though Spamalot looked like it would be lots of fun!)<\/p>\n
Highlights included:<\/p>\n
*Constant jaw dropping at Bergdorf<\/a> with my mom\u2019s friend Marie<\/p>\n *Shopping on 5th, Park and Madison<\/a> Avenues<\/p>\n *Being bombarded by perfume \/ cologne boys and girls to try Gucci Envy<\/a>, SJP\u2019s new scent<\/a> and Courduroy at Macy\u2019s and Bloomies<\/p>\n *Dinner with S and his coworkers at Nonna<\/a> in the UWS<\/a>: great Italian eats, great company, lots of wine and lots of limoncello make for a F-U-N evening<\/p>\n *Catching a jazz band at Dizzy\u2019s at the Time Warner Center<\/a> at Columbus Circle<\/p>\n *Rockefeller Center, coffee beans at Dean & Deluca, Bryant Park and Grand Central Station<\/p>\n *Hanging out in Washington Square<\/p>\n *Strolling thru the Village \/ NYU and more shopping in SoHo<\/p>\n *Fabulous Korean food<\/a> in Little Italy<\/p>\n *Even more fabulous Chocolate and Hazelnut gelato in Little Italy and drooling over the various biscottis and cannolis in the pastry shops<\/p>\n
